Since 2005 chlorine cylinders are replaced by AQUACHLOR-500 devices for drinking water disinfection at Engels Water Treatment Station. The station’s daily drinking water output is 100 000 m3/24 hours. Depending on season 40 to 80 thousand m3/24 hours is disinfected by the oxidants solution.

As the concentration of residual chlorine in the pool decreases the operator switches on the dosing pump which supplies the oxidants solution from the collecting tank to the circulation system until the required amount of residual chlorine in the pool is reached.
