Separate infeeding of sodium hydroxide and chlorine water provides possibility of exhibiting characteristics of each reagent in all volume of water which fundamentally differs in technological effect from infeeding hypochlorite solution formed as a result of interaction of the said reagents.

Water Treatment Station, Belaya Tserkov, Ukraine, 2008

Water treatment station’s altitude circuit applying AQUACHLOR-500 devices for initial disinfection at the first lifting pumping facility
Pure hydrogen is taken out through PVC tubing (not piping)of 5 mm in diameter from each AQ-500 device outside the premises and disperses in the air. Dosing pumps are not required, reconstruction of chlorine room is not required too because the oxidants solution is supplied to the infeeding points through the same lines and in the same amount as chlorine water. Oxidants supply adjustment is carried out by means of changing the number of operating AQ-500 devices or by changing current strength on each device’s individual power supply unit. AQUACHLOR becomes automatically disconnected if water (which mixes with oxidants to become oxidants solution) stops running through any of AQ modules. AQUACHLOR also becomes automatically disconnected in case if the reactor’s temperature exceeds 55 degrees.
Brine preparation equipment should be placed in the same room where AQ devices are installed, in the neighboring room, in the basement or in the higher floor. Reade for use brine is recommended to be let overflow or pumped over to the collecting tank the bottom of which is 30-50 cm higher than inlet nozzles of AQUACHLOR’s dozing pumps in order to ensure their operation "under flood". Hydrochloric acid tank (for recurrent supply of 5% hydrochloric acid to membrane pumps of AQUACHLORs for de-scaling) should be place at the same height.

11 AQUACHLOR-500 devices and support equipment lay-out in the chlorination room of the Water Treatment Station, Belaya Tserkov, 2008

AQUACHLOR-500 devices with total oxidant producing capacity of 132 kg/24 h in chlorine equivalent at Belaya Tserkov Water Treatment Station, 2008

Hydrogen from each of 11 AQUACHLOR-500 devices is taken out of premises through separate PVC tubing. Water Treatment Station, Belaya Tserkov, Ukraine, 2008

Every group of several AQUACHLOR-500 devices, assembled on a separate collector carriage, is connected to separate switchboard and water-hydraulic equipped with electromagnetic valves, reducers with manometers, valves and mud filter. WTS, Belaya Tserkov, Ukraine, 2008.
Collectors from groups of AQUACHLOR-500 devices are united in mutual system transporting the oxidants solution to supply point through the existing chlorine water supply line. Catholyte is transported through a separate PVC tubing 1.5 inch in diameter.
