Servicing

It is strictly prohibited to dismantle and repair the device.

Servicing of the device means routine operation parameters control by one operator.

Regular control of operating parameters is carried out at all sites where AQUACHLOR-500 devices are installed. Water Treatment Station, Nevinnomyssk, 2007.

Initial brine preparation with concentration from 200 to 250 g/l in the amount of up to 3600 liters daily and preparation of hydrochloric acid solution for descaling of the devices is carried out by one worker working in one shift.

For AQUACHLOR operation it is required to prepare NaCl solution (white evaporated salt or salt in tablets for regeneration of cation-exchange materials) with concentration of 200-250 g/l.

Single AQUACHLOR devices are supplied with brine preparation unit consisting of brine dissolving tank, brine (working solution) preparation tank and HCl tank used for descaling of the device’s reactors from hard salts scale.

Operation of groups consisting of 2, 3 and more AQUAHCLOR devices is carried out with brine prepared in tanks of 1m3 in volume. These tanks should be provided by the Customer by the time when installation works commence.

If sodium chloride solution containing hard salts and polyvalent metals ions is used in the devices, it is required to descale both cathode and anode chambers of the device at regular intervals. Descaling cycle is determined according to hardness degree of the used brine and makes in average once per 50 hours of continuous and total operating time of the device.

Hydrochloric acid solution is prepared in plastic tank by dissolving it in water in the proportion of 1:2.
