Sports complex “Tayozhny” that had just lately been reconstructed was the first building exposed to annual inspection of the swimming pools. Besides, the committee also checked the level of children training for their emergent evacuation in the event of accidental chlorine leakage.

Training for emergent evacuation: the event of causal chlorine leakage was simulated at sports complex “Tayozhny”. No need to say about health hazards. Almost half a thousand visitors daily come to the swimming pool. Therefore, when inspecting “Tayozhny” the committee makes its first account for the equipment to be used for water chlorination. Tatiyana Butko, Head of Department OGU “National Defense and Emergency Management Agency, Bratsk said: “All was OK. Any faults we had found were corrected”.

The method of water disinfection by means of chlorine is time-tested water treatment technique, though it is morally aged. Nevertheless, in a year the management of “Tayozhny” projects to replace it by the principally new water treatment method.

“In 2006, we schedule to deliver plant “Aquachlor” that runs on common salt – it is the system of absolutely safe nature. As per the project, we intend to coat the pool with plastic and totally reconstruct it” – said Grigory Kalinin, Director of sports complex “Tayozhny”.

Besides, upon finishing complex reconstruction, “Tayozhny” was sufficiently refreshed up and rather strict passing system was introduced. Now, mounting of fire alarm system is about to be finished.

“The only thing to do is unfinished wiring, but we will soon take it up” - said Nikita Potapov, Inspector of Gospozharnadzor. There are several large swimming pools in Bratsk. “Tayozhny” is the first one to be estimated in a week upon its accepting by the fire inspector. As for “Chayka”, “Solnetchny” and “Olympia”, they are just scheduled for their safety inspection.
